The Love/Commitment Run Report

Well, it was a little windy, a little snowy and a little chilly, but Valentines morning we set out on the Rail Trail. The cold didn't seem to bother Basin, the mascot golden retriever seen in the picture, and it didn't bother us much either once we got into the run. It was nice--quiet except for the snow crunching under our feet.

We crossed paths with a skunk. He ran across the trail in front of us. Then decided to run parallel to us for 50 yards or so. Luckily we caught Basin before she decided to make friends.

The run ended back at our cars where we spent a few minutes talking, posing for a picture and enjoying cold water.
